NSC have received recognition for our efforts to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of developing countries in cooperation with JICA especially in the Project for Formulation of Wastewater Treatment Master Plan in Western Division, which has been implemented in the Republic of Fiji since October 2021.

This project aims to develop a master plan for sewage treatment in the Western Region, where Lautoka and Nadi, the second and third most populous cities in Fiji, are located, in cooperation with the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), taking into account the future increase in sewage volume due to population and economic growth, and to strengthen WAF's organizational and operational structure.

This project contributes to the achievement of the SDG 6: “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”.

NSC has provided technical assistance for the development of water supply and sewerage projects in many developing countries in Asia and Africa. NSC will continue to develop our projects in cooperation with JICA to ensure access to water and sanitation for all people around the world.
