Nihon Suido Consultants Co., Ltd. (NSC) entered into a strategic partnership agreement with JGC Corporation (JGC) on 1 April 2021. JGC is engaged in the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for plants and facilities.

In accordance with the increasing demand for water due to growth of global population and urbanization, securing stable and efficient procurement and use of water resources has become a major challenge on a global scale. From the perspective of reducing environmental impacts, entities involved in water infrastructure are required to fulfill their social responsibilities in securing water resources and making effective use of that water. The challenges faced by water infrastructure are becoming increasingly diverse, including the promotion of reclaimed water and zero liquid discharge (ZLD).

Through this agreement, we will contribute to the realization of water infrastructure that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable by combining JGC's engineering and project management capabilities along with NSC's extensive technical knowledge in the field of water infrastructure.

NSC and JGC will jointly carry out EPC, and O&M services for global water and wastewater treatment facilities, seawater desalination facilities, and water infrastructure in industrial parks.

NSC aims to enter water and sewerage concessions, EPC and O&M services in the global water infrastructure sector in accordance with the company’s basic policies of the Mid-term Management Plan 2025. We aim to accelerate further business expansion in the water and wastewater through this strategic partnership agreement.
