Outsourcing of Work Covered by Workers’ Compensation for a Fixed Term
When we outsource construction projects (construction work) such as boring, trial drilling, installation of experimental equipment, or scaffold installation to our partner companies, we are obligated by law to provide workers’ compensation insurance for each of these sites. Therefore, we request that partner companies to whom we outsource such work prepare and submit a written estimate indicating the “estimated labor cost” or “labor cost ratio” for each individual job.
Outsourcing of Hazardous Oxygen-Deficient Work
In order to prevent accidents from occurring in work involving hazardous oxygen-deficient work, it is essential to comply with the Ordinance on Prevention of Anoxia, etc. (Ministry of Labor Ordinance No. 42 of September 30, 1972). For the purpose of preventing accidents, we require that the partners companies to whom we outsource such work sign a “Contract for Performance of Hazardous Oxygen-Deficient Work” in advance and submit a list of persons working for the said partner companies who have completed the Hazardous Oxygen-Deficient and Hydrogen Sulfide Worker Technical Skills Course and a copy of the certificate of completion of the technical skills course. In addition, each time we place an order for individual outsourced work, we will confirm that the person in charge has completed the said technical skills course. Our representative will send you the contract and other documents.
Switching to Electronic Contracts
We are encouraging our customers to switch from traditional paper-based order forms and order confirmation forms to electronic contracting procedures. Switching to electronic contracts eliminates the need for revenue stamps and paper shipping procedures, thereby reducing costs and labor. If an electronic contracting system used by the Company is used for the contract, you will not incur any usage fees or other special charges. If you wish to switch from paper to electronic contracting, please contact us using the inquiry form.
