Four Priority Policies

Nihon Suido Consultants has established four priority policies to fulfill its management strategies.

Four Priority Policies Chart: Core Business, PPP Business, Industrial Infrastructure Business, New Areas (Energy, Agribusiness, Etc.)
  1. Priority
    Policy
    1
Core Business (Survey, Diagnosis, Planning, Design, and Construction Supervision Concerning Water Infra Structure)

The government’s “Building National Resilience” policy states that disaster prevention and mitigation efforts are a form of national risk management to build a strong and resilient nation. The enactment of the “Five-Year Acceleration Plan for Disaster Prevention, Disaster Mitigation, and Building National Resilience” and the “Act for Partial Revision of the Basic Act for National Resilience Contributing to Preventing and Mitigating Disasters for Developing Resilience in the Lives of the Citizenry” (revised Basic Act on National Resilience) will promote the systematic and steady implementation of measures for building national resilience under a mid- to long-term outlook.
In response to these national policies, we will focus on securing an efficient workload for public works projects, and strive to cut costs through rigorous time management in order to improve profitability.

  2. Priority
    Policy
    2
    PPP Business

The “PPP/PFI Promotion Action Plan (2023 revised version)” was finalized by the Council for the Promotion of the Private Finance Initiatives (PFI Promotion Council), and the concession method and a similar public-private partnership method that integrates maintenance and renewal under a long-term contract, collectively referred to as “Water PPP,” are now being fleshed out.
Our participation in this Water PPP will enable us to secure more orders for PPP projects and achieve more efficient water and sewerage business operations.

  3. Priority
    Policy
    3
    Industrial Infrastructure Business

In Japan, investment in the development of production facilities in various industrial fields has raised expectations for solutions to complex water needs and advanced treatment processes. In addition, overseas, there is a growing need to improve wastewater facilities at existing plants due to stricter environmental regulations, as well as a desire to become carbon neutral and energy-efficient.
To meet these needs, we will expand our industrial infrastructure business by offering solutions that reduce our environmental footprint and use water efficiently.

  4. Priority
    Policy
    4
    New Areas (Energy, Agribusiness, Etc.)

Water is becoming increasingly essential to a sustainable and resilient society. In the fields of energy conservation and creation, as well as agriculture, sustainable activities are being developed with “water” as the starting point.
We will venture into new areas based on the theme of “water and community” and pursue business development, such as small-scale hydroelectric power generation and local resource-recycling agriculture that utilizes sewage sludge. On top of in-house development, we will also actively consider partnerships with promising start-ups and M&A.
