Company Information
Intellectual Capital
Nihon Suido Consultants considers the shareable knowledge and information generated from business outcomes and research and development (formal knowledge) and the wisdom and experience cultivated in the process of problem solving (tacit knowledge) to be important assets. We aim to leverage these intellectual assets and make technical consulting one of our core strengths.
Central Research Institute
The Central Research Institute is an organization that creates innovation by organically linking and integrating our core technologies in multiple fields, such as water supply, sewerage, and rivers. In 1959, when the company was founded, it was organized as a research department specializing in water quality services for water and sewerage projects, and in 1972 it became the Central Research Institute. We invest approximately 1% of our sales revenue in R&D.
Functions of the Central Research Institute
- Basic research: Theoretical and experimental research on technical topics considered useful from a long-term perspective
- Technological development: Development of new products and technical services that help solve social issues
- Human resource development: In-house training and technological deployment of various new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)
- Future Center (knowledge hub): Providing a place to facilitate collaboration between government, universities, NGOs, NPOs, residents, and other organizations in order to mutually stimulate intellectual exchange and exchange information to generate new ideas and innovations
